Between October 16 – 21, 2023, members of the Management and Entrepreneurship Department of the ASEM Faculty of Business and Business Administration, together with a group of professors from 4 partner Universities from the Republic of Moldova, participated in the training course “Innovation and STEAM skills development for Industry 4.0” at the Technical University of Lodz (Poland).
ASEM was represented by Covas Lilia, Stihi Liudmila, Dorogaia Irina, Călugăreanu Irina, Țimbaliuc Natalia and Şendrea Mariana.
The event was carried out within the framework of the ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE project, Project 101081787 — Skills4future “Development and improvement of STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local enterprises”, which aims modernization of the curriculum for students of the specialty “Business and administration”, cycle I license by integrating STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) in several aspects: Economic, Environmental and Social.
This experience represents a significant commitment to the development of STEAM skills needed in Industry 4.0 and sustainable development.
During this session, the participants learned and collaborated closely with international experts, for the improvement of the quality of education and the future preparation of students.
The professors made study visits to several economic units, such as: Avient and DOZ Direct from Lodz, during which the companies’ employees enthusiastically shared how they develop innovative services and products, maintaining a strong commitment to protecting the environment. These learning opportunities open up new horizons and fuel the desire for knowledge, especially regarding advances in sustainability, innovation and the transformation brought about by Industry 4.0.
