On November 22, 2024, a Multiplier Event was organized, during which the university textbook Fundamentals of Management, developed by the teaching staff of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship of ASEM, was launched. This volume represents an important step in preparing students and all those interested in the challenges of modern management and will significantly contribute to the development of STEAM skills in future managers.
The event brought together students, ASEM professors, as well as representatives of partner universities and the business environment. At the opening of the event, the Rector of ASEM, Alexandru STRATAN, Ph.D., prof. univ. and the Rector of the Commercial Cooperatist University of Moldova, Larisa ȘAVGA, Ph.D., prof. univ., emphasized the importance of this textbook in the training of future business professionals.
A review of the textbook was presented by Ms. Eugenia FEURAȘ. Ph.D., prof. univ., who highlighted the added value that the work brings to the educational process.
Representatives of the business environment also spoke with messages of encouragement for the students: Valeriu STRELEȚ, founder and director of BIOPROTECT S.R.L., Sergiu BAZIUC, Director of Human Resources and Administration at Efes Moldova; Tatiana MEDVEDEVA, Head of Agile and Transformation Department at Banca Comercială maib and Nicolae POJOGA, director and founder of Dulcinela S.R.L.
In appreciation of the students’ involvement in the learning process, the first-year students of the Business and Administration program, who developed the most original projects within the Fundamentals of Management course, were awarded with a copy of the textbook.
The multiplier session was organized within the Erasmus+ project “Skills4future – Developing and improving the STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses”. This project aims to develop and improve the STEAM skills of students and teachers, in order to innovate the curriculum and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses.
