Skills4future: Training courses for teachers from the Republic of Moldova at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania
Between October 7 and 11, 2024, members of the Management and Entrepreneurship Department of the ASEM Faculty of Business and Administration, together with a group of professors from 4 partner Universities from the Republic of Moldova, participated in the training course “Education for Sustainability and Innovation in HEI systems” at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest (Romania).
ASEM was represented by Covas Lilia, Stihi Liudmila, Dorogaia Irina, Țurcanu Gheorghe, Șavga Ghenadie and Serduni Serghei.
The improvement was carried out within the framework of the ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE project, Project 101081787 — Skills4future “Development and improvement of STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local enterprises”, which aims general modernization of the curriculum for students of the specialty “Business and administration”, cycle I license by integrating STEAM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) in several aspects: Economic, Environmental and Social.
This experience represents a significant commitment to promoting the goals of sustainable development and innovation in higher education.
During this session, the participants learned and collaborated closely with experts from the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest and Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, as well as international experts from Poland and France.
In the same way, the teachers made study visits to several economic units, such as: Hewlett Packard Enterprise, National Bank of Romania, Bucharest Stock Exchange, Ateneu Company, etc. in which the companies’ employees enthusiastically shared how they develop innovative services and products, maintaining a strong commitment to protecting the environment and caring for all stakeholders.
