On May 21, 2024, within the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, FBAA, ASEM, a Follow-up Workshop was organized dedicated to the improvement of internships and the development of STEAM skills for the students of the bachelor’s program in Business and Administration.
The main topic of the workshop was optimizing the organization of internships for students and identifying the essential skills that need to be developed in order to provide them with a meaningful formative experience. According to the new curriculum, BA students will have three internships during their studies. It is necessary to rethink the practice program, so that it contributes to the development of the skills currently required by the business environment.
The event was attended by 3rd year students from the BA program, teaching staff, representatives from the business environment. In her welcome speech, the head of the department Solcan Angela, associate professor, PhD emphasized the importance of developing STEAM skills to ensure the success of students in their future careers.
The students, who participated in the event, discussed the practical details and concrete situations encountered, also revealing their expectations from the internship. The event was attended by business partners: Purcari S.R.L., Rxquete S.R.L., Vlama S.R.L., etc. Through the connection between the business environment and higher education we can strengthen the collaboration for the development of students’ skills and the improvement of internships.
