Skills4future: The third Outreach Sessions
On 11.09.2024, the Center for Competences and Innovation “STEAM Innovation”, the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, FBAA, ASEM, organized an information session about the Erasmus+ project “Skills4future”. The event was attended by representatives from the business environment, teaching staff and students from the Business and Administration study program.
Initially, the Director of the Center, Irina Dorogaia, came with a word of greeting and informed the public about the particularities of the Skills4future project, the basic objectives, the activities carried out in the first year of the project’s launch.
The guests, representatives of Quantum Business Club: Amir Roitman – Founder of KMB Events, Igor Cebotarenco – Owner of 5AQ Invest SRL, Vitalie Belescu – Owner of Keypartner SRL and Accredited Business Trainer generously shared their experience, offering practical advice and inspiration to the participants.
Special guests, Mrs. Neguta Neli, from the Tourist Information and Promotion Center (CIPT) and Mr. Ceban Valentin, from the National Tourism Office of the Republic of Moldova addressed topics with reference to the importance of collaboration between the business environment and the academic environment.
The event highlighted the importance of soft skills such as communication, collaboration and critical thinking in building a successful career. Soft skills are essential to complement technical skills. Adaptability and effective communication make all the difference in today’s professional environment, and continuing to develop these skills can accelerate career progression.
Collaboration between universities and the business environment contributes to the education of future leaders, providing practical skills, strategic thinking and adaptation to modern challenges through real business cases and projects.
The information session was organized within the Erasmus+ project “Skills4future – Developing and improving the STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses”. This project aims to develop and improve the STEAM skills of students and teachers, with a view to curriculum innovation and the sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses.
